The Fisher & Paykel Pilairo nasal pillows system is a revolution in nasal pillow technology! The Pilairo transcends the traditional nasal pillow mask by adding an inflatable outer cushion that ensures stability and delivers an excellent seal every time. This AirPillow™ technology also features a one-size-fits-most design, making multiple sized pillows a thing of the past.
Because the innovative pillows of this mask provide so much stability, a traditional multi-strap headgear is not required for proper support. Instead, the Fisher & Paykel Pilairo is fitted with a single strap headgear that fits around the back of the head. Furthermore, the headgear eliminates the need for velcro in favor of a latex-free elasticized thread headgear that automatically customizes to the wearer.
This mask also features a bed-partner friendly pivoting diffuser that quietly directs airflow upwards and away from the wearer. The short tube assembly is highly flexible and provides a detachable swivel at the bottom that makes it easy to disconnect the mask from the CPAP tubing.

The best and most comfortable mask... and I have purchased them all... only problem is the headstrap wears out after about a month. It is very comfortable but seems to need replacing after about 3 months. If money isn't a problem for you it is the way to go... but not for those on a budget or plan that doesn't allow 3 month replacement. KC

The headgear is comfortable and fits well. I am having some issues with the nose pillows. I don't know if it's because they go into my nose too far or what the reason is but I have gotten cold sores inside my nose since using the Pilairo. It upsets me because I thought I found the perfect headgear to fit my small head!BARBARA W.

There seems to be no way to tighten the strap that goes around the head, and as a result the nose pillows keep coming out. If it weren't for that, it would be wonderful. But, I've gone back to the full face mask.PAUL F.
