Return Policy

TheCPAPPeople.com will accept ALL unopened product(s) for returns with our “No Questions Asked” policy within 15 days of your ship date. After 15 days a restocking fee up to 15% (of total cost of product) may be charged and a credit for the difference will be issued back to your credit card. Shipping costs are not refundable.

NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY DATE

Unfortunately, bedding products are not returnable.

Items that were purchased under a “Free Shipping” program will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We will do everything we can to help you avoid buying the wrong equipment, product(s) or sizes for accessories. To better assist you in finding the best mask we provide various product materials, such as sizing and fitting guides. These materials are available under the “Details and Downloads” section on each product page. Because there are so many size variations in manufacturers’ models, please feel free to call us toll free at 888-494-4647 anytime so we can help you out with any doubts or concerns. Please follow these procedures in order for you to return the product(s):

  • Please call toll free 888-494-4647 for RA # (Returns Authorization Number) or fill out the “Return Items” form that is available to you on our website at TheCPAPPeople.com. Any order that is received without an RA # may not be considered as being a return and may be charged a 20% restocking fee.
  • Please write the RA# on the outside of the box. Also, include your name, current shipping address, phone number and written explanation for the return and mail it to:

Warranty Issues

Most manufacturers offer up to a 2-year warranty on their products, especially on CPAP & BIPAP machines, and a 1-year warranty on humidifiers. Should you feel that the product you received has a manufacturer defect, please contact us as soon as you can at 888-494-4647. If we in fact deem the product is defective we will issue an RA # for the return of that product. It is totally up to the manufacturer to determine whether the machine will be replaced or repaired. Please know that we are not responsible for any shipping costs associated with the return due to warranty issues. We will do our best to have the manufacturer replace the defective product and we will return it to you. This process may take up to 2 weeks, so there may be some delay in returning it to you.

Prescription Policy

Prescriptions are required for the purchase of all CPAP, Auto CPAP, BiPAP/BiLevel devices, humidifiers, masks, and oxygen concentrators as per FDA regulations. Machines will be set as indicated on your prescription as ordered by your physician prior to shipment.

Need assistance obtaining your prescription? If you do not have a copy of your prescription, it would be our pleasure to contact your doctor and request the information for you. Please provide us the following information:

  • Physician’s Name
  • Office Phone Number
  • Office Fax Number
  • Date of Birth for whom the prescription is written
This information can be entered for your order during the checkout process.

Quick Checklist for submitting your Prescription:

  • Prescriptions must be issued by a licensed physician in the United States
  • Make sure the prescribed pressure is clearly noted on the prescription
  • Prescriptions may be faxed to 1-866-293-9890, or emailed to info@thecpappeople.com
  • Include your order number with the prescription so that we can match it with your order as quickly and easily as possible and get your product shipped!

Insurance Claims and Medicare Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN)

TheCPAPPeople.com is not listed as a provider for any insurance company. We can not file insurance claims on behalf of our customer. TheCPAPPeople.com is a cash-based retail website. It may be possible for our customers to file personal claims, but we recommend contacting your insurance company for more information. Medicare, in particular, does not reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses such as those made via our website.
