The Respironics DC Power Cord is perfect for frequent travelers, campers, and long-distance truck drivers. This cord can be used to operate Respironics CPAP and BiPAP Systems where AC power is not available. It plugs into a standard cigarette lighter socket found in automotive vehicles. The cord comes with the 3-amp fuse installed and includes a 5-amp and a 7-amp fuse as well. The configuration of your CPAP setup will determine the amperage. Please check your user manual for exact specifications. When in doubt, use the 7-amp fuse for all configurations. Note: Use of a humidifier while operating on DC power is NOT recommended.
