How do you know if a product has a warranty?
All manufacturers have a 2-year warranty on their CPAP machines. Each product we carry has a detailed description section on the product page. Many of our products have warranties listed in that description. However, if a warranty is not noted, please feel free to contact us before purchasing to request that information.
When does my warranty begin?
When you purchase from The CPAP People, your warranty begins when you receive the product from us.
How does my CPAP machine warranty work?
At The CPAP People, we make every effort to help you get a faulty machine replaced or repaired without stress or complications. We keep track of all of your purchase history (including product and serial number), so we can help you have a hassle-free, easy return process. We want your warranty to give you the peace of mind it was intended to give you.
The general practice of all of our manufacturers is to accept a defective machine within the warranty period. It must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement with a new or refurbished machine. However, products must be shipped to us first. Then, we ship the products on to the manufacturer. This can take time, including the time for diagnosing and repairing the problem. As this is the case, we suggest you call us first to make sure that your product is still under warranty and to give you a reasonable estimate of your expected wait time. If your equipment is no longer under warranty, we can help you decide the best and most economical course of action to take.
